From previous experience I've noticed that a lack of posts here make people nervous that my Thesis is not moving forward. I'm therefore now posting a few posts with fake time-stamp to update you on the last couple of days' worth of Thesis Questing.

Status: post-Christmas don't-wanna-work-feeling
Detailed progress: visited University, met supervisor (who, btw, did not actually send an email as below but I could almost hear him thinking it) read+wrote about one related study, worked on Beaver paper
