Looks like I'll break the 20k barrier this week. Which makes me wonder when the word count will peak? I know there will be extensive cutting beginning at some point, but so far I've only added text, not worked anything on it once it's there. Since the results sections seem to be around 2000 words each, and I still have the entire Related work (not to mention Concluding discussion, Abstract and Acknowledgements...) on the to-do list, I'm guessing I'll hit 30k before it peaks. Pheeeww, that's a whole lotta words left to write....
